Axel is head of our German office in Munich.

Axel has vast IP experience from private practice and in-house counselling in the pharmaceutical industry. His technical expertise includes pharmaceuticals, medical devices, microbiology, general chemistry and environmental engineering. Axel’s mother tongue is German, and he is also fluent in Danish and English.

Axel is extraordinarily experienced in opposition and appeal cases before the European Patent Office, and also acts as technical and patent law adviser in court cases pertaining to infringement and invalidity in Denmark and Germany.

Axel is ranked both as Recommended Individual by IAM Patent 1000 in 2020 and as IP Star by Managing Intellectual Property 2020.
