Christian is an experienced patent attorney with a proven track record in advising clients on patentability, prosecution, freedom-to-operate, and invalidity. Since starting his career in patent law in 2016, he has guided clients through complex legal challenges, particularly in opposition and appeal proceedings, having represented clients in more than thirty oral proceedings before European patent authorities.
Christian’s expertise is deeply rooted in his technical background in mechanical engineering. He holds both B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Technical University of Denmark, along with a semester at Oregon State University. His academic career is marked by hands-on innovation, including his involvement in the development of a world-record-breaking fuel-efficient car and his thesis research on underwater robotic vehicles and sensor nodes for subsea structural monitoring.
His broad technical knowledge spans mechanics, medical devices, renewable energy, and robotics, enabling him to deliver nuanced, industry-specific IP strategies to his clients.
