Natalia is a highly experienced patent attorney drawing on experience from German, Russian, Eurasian, as well as European patent law.
She specialises in the fields of electronics, software, and mechanics, and primarily works with drafting and prosecuting patent applications, attending oral proceedings in EPO examination cases and assisting in opposition and appeal proceedings.
Natalia holds an Engineering degree in optical and electronic equipment and systems as well as a Law degree in International private and trade law.
She started her career as a patent examiner, and after qualifying as a Russian and Eurasian Patent Attorney, Natalia moved to Germany in 2015 where she worked in a large German patent firm until joining COPA in 2022. Natalia qualified as European Patent Attorney in 2019.
Natalia is fluent in Russian, English, and German.
