Sune's technical fields include, among others, mechanics, electronics, mobile communication, fibre communication, semiconductor devices, IoT, and nanotech. He has more than 20 years of experience in identifying inventions and drafting and prosecuting patent applications worldwide. He has also worked as an in-house patent engineer in the industry, where he drafted and prosecuted patent applications. He has been an advisor in Connect Denmark, where he advised about IPR strategies for start-ups.

Furthermore, he has evaluated business plans as a jury member in the business plan competition Venture Cup. He also worked with strategic product development for and in industry.
