Sylvia holds a degree in M.Sc. in Biophysics and Medical technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, in addition to a Ph.D. in Forensic Science from The University of Copenhagen. After her Ph.D., she has worked as a research and innovation consultant and as an Examiner at the Danish Patent and Trademark Office.

She handles all aspects of the patent cycle such as infringements, freedom to operate, invalidity and patent drafting and prosecution.

Furthermore, she is COPA’s Operations Manager and makes sure that COPA is striving to deliver the highest quality patent consulting to our clients and the best work environment for our team, while still balancing her work as a European Patent Attorney.
